KICK!!!

We felt you kick for the first time last weekend! I can say that it was the most incredible feeling I've ever felt. I can't imagine what it must be like for your mom who can feel you move and kick and swim around. It's so amazing! We kept gathering around your mom with hands anxiously placed on her belly to feel your next move. This is just the most awesome experience to see you grow and live off your mom. Your daddy is just as thrilled and sometimes falls asleep with his hand on your mom's belly, or so I've heard. :)

The fabulous foursome made onesies for your closet, so you have a complete wardwrobe from us stylish ladies.

OMG!

I look at the pictures on the previous blog and I can't believe how much you've grown. It's been a while since our last post, but we've been keeping busy awaiting your arrival. From our last entry, you've grown to such a big boy:

We had dinner with your mommy and daddy on Sunday and celebrated Halloween a little late. Your mom cooked her best dish and uncle BryBry and Dad worked on the cameras. After dinner, we all took turns painting you for your first Halloween! I nearly bawled when your dad wrote your name on the pumpkin cheek. They are so proud of you and can't wait to see you! We missed the kicking festivities, because of the time change...you're already on a schedule. :) Lindsay and I are busy away planning the shower in your honor. I can't believe there are less than four months left until we get to see your precious little face. Hang in there...

Your First Sonogram!!!

Your Mom and Dad had their first visit with the doctor this afternoon! They got the first pictures of you and saw your little heart beat at a super healthy rate! :) We HAD to meet them for dinner tonight to see the precious pics! Here's a slideshow of all the images we took. Paparazzi in full action! :) You'll figure out what that means later.

Colorado Visit

We had a great time in Colorado last week. The best part about it was seeing the reaction on Grandma & Grandpa Selby's faces when they heard the news! Auntie and Uncle took pictures while your mom and dad gave them a picture frame with the words "pregnant" in it. Everyone was so excited and so happy! We did a little ATV'ing, a little house hunting (although I'm pretty sure it's safe to say you're gonna be a California bred and raised baby!), a lot of eatin' and a lot of sleeping! It was so nice to all be together again! Here's a slideshow of our week in Colorado:

Your First Outfit!!!

Well, one of many, but the first that we gave to Mommy and Daddy. Mom saved the wrapping paper and texted me saying she couldn't believe the onesie was for their baby - YOU! :) Dad was all smiles!

I don't think I've seen your daddy this excited since he discovered Sonic. His enthusiasm and excitement just melts my heart! From taking extra special care of your Mommy (keeping her away from paint fumes and any heavy lifting) to calling out baby names to telling everyone at his 10-year reunion. It's just so wonderful to see a father so deserving of a child, not to mention your mother...who was born to raise you. And this is all from outside observations, I'm sure your mom has a lot more personal observations that will just melt your heart one day, as it has mine. I couldn't be happier for your parents.

And your mom might disown me, but I had to tell someone. Someone with absolutley no relation to you or to your parents, or any association with anyone who would blab. I couldn't contain this excitement any longer! I told a friend at work that I've been studying with and how I just couldn't wait to wrap my arms around you, and talk to you throughout the next 8 months. Uncle BryBry is just as excited and each day we look at each other and say: "They're having a baby!!!" We can't wait to see the look on Grandpa & Grandma Selby in a few short days! I can't imagine all the emotions and feelings your mom and dad are going through...but it must be intense! What a wonderful thing it is....you coming into this world. You already have so many people that love you and can't wait to meet you!

Pregnancy Magazine

We wrapped the three magazines we got for Mommy and Daddy in baby paper! Mom and Auntie read "I'm Pregnant" cover to cover and ooh'd and aah'd over all the fun baby products. Of the three, Pregnancy Magazine was her favorite. We ordered them a subscription so now they can keep up to date on all things BABY!

And this new book should be arriving sometime this week or next! I found it in my InStyle magazine and saw a feature on E! News! Apparently, it's the new "IT" book for expecting mothers who want to look fabulous pre- and post-baby! Your momma's gonna look HOT!

We're Going to be an Aunt & Uncle!!!

We just found out tonight that we are going to be Aunt Tiffany and Uncle Bryan in 8 months!!!

We met your mom and dad at Claim Jumpers for dinner to thank them for taking care of Magny for the weekend. After dinner, we said goodbye and went our separate ways. On the way home, your mommy called to tell us they forgot to give us our present from their Cancun trip. She said she would drop it off at our house. A few minutes later, they both arrived at our house with a bag in hand. We sat in the living room and could feel the anticipation. Your mommy said that they made us something in Cancun, but it wouldn't come for another 8 months. The room fell silent and you could hear our wheels turning. I was thinking pottery, Uncle Bryan was thinking blanket...and then somehow it clicked. Mommy started crying and I started screaming with excitement. Uncle Bryan couldn't stop smiling and clapping and shouting in excitement, either. We hugged both your parents several times and talked about how exiting it would be to have a little Neice or Nephew running around! We're going to be an AUNT AND UNCLE!!!! And we are so, so, so, so, excited for your parents to be a MoM and DaD!!!

After we said goodbye for the second time, we immediately went out and found you some clothes to wear! We found things we'll get as time goes on too, but got a few little goodies for now. We also picked up some magazines for your mommy and daddy too! When we got home, we went online and created this little blog and found some more goodies for you! You are going to be the luckiest baby on earth and the most spoiled little kid...showered with lots of love!!!
